IRS to increase focus on non filers of Income Tax Returns
The IRS Commissioner of the Small Business/Self-Employed Division, has agreed with recommendations made by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) to "refine our Nonfiler Program strategy".
If you have not filed income tax, the IRS Criminal Investigation Division (CID) can recommend to the U.S. Department of Justice, a criminal prosecution for failure to file income tax.
