IRS announces today: "3 out of 5 still need to file"
Today IRS issued IRS Newswire Issue Number: IR-2015-38.
This IRS announcement states: "Almost 59 million tax returns have been filed so far" in 2015.
"The IRS estimates that three out of five taxpayers have yet to file their tax returns".
In 2014 the average refund was $3,096, and in 2015 the average refund increased by 2.0% to $3,159.
