"Turbo Tax halts all state tax filings due to fraud concerns"
Today Money.cnn.com announced that: "The popular Turbo Tax software has temporarily stopped processing state tax refund filings in all states after reports of fraud increased'".
The state of Nevada does not have a state income tax filing requirement.
This is an important news item which could involve dishonest employees, identity theft, and/or stolen Social Security numbers.
The IRS does not require that the federal Form 1040 be electonically filed ('e-filed').
There is a benefit to filing a 2014 paper Form 1040, particularly if there is a balance due.
