The IRS Form 2848, Power of Attorney
As an Enrolled Agent, for individual or business representation, the IRS requries the completion and submission of IRS Form 2848, Power of Attorney.
Upon completion of the Form 2848, Power of Attorney, I provide a copy to new clients, and I fax to the IRS Ogden, Utah, POA unit.
It generally takes the IRS 7 to 14 days to process the Form 2848, and after the 7 to 14 days, I print IRS 'account transcripts' to determine unfiled and unpaid taxes.
If the IRS has recorded a Notice of Federal Tax Lien (NFTL) or you have received an IRS Certified Mail Return Receipt Requested letter, please email me or call me at 702-749-6289.
